A container company has received an enquiry from an Australian exporter which has to deliver a consignment of its goods to Russia (you are to decide what kind of product is going to be shipped). Make up a letter of reply advising of the most suitable containers, freight charges, sailings and other details which may be of interest to the exporter.
FOCUS 8. Role play.
You are a representative of an Italian exporter of glassware. You have signed a contract with a Russian company which provide for partial shipment. The first lot of your goods was delivered a week ago, and included large numbers of broken items due to inadequate packing and insufficient marking. The damage was caused by (choose either variant):
