Dear Sirs,
We would like to send from New York to Moscow thirty four boxes of computer accessories, to be delivered within the next fortnight. Each box weighs 40 kilos and measures 0.63 cubic meters. In view of the fragile nature of the goods we require them to be forwarded by air, and we would therefore be glad to cooperate with you.
Please let us know the present freight rates for the delivery of the above consignment. Could you also please quote charges for insurance?
We shall be glad to know time of transit and frequency of flights.
Your earliest reply will be appreciated.
Yours faithfully, Audrey Weiner Audrey Weiner Sales Manager

Ms. A.Weiner July 8 20__ Macromix Inc. EU 567 Broadway 90 Ramsey Plaza New York
Dear Ms. Weiner
Thank you for your enquiry of July 3. We will be able to send your consignment to Moscow within a day of your delivering it to Kennedy Airport. There are daily flights from New York to Moscow.
As you know freight depends on the size and weight of the boxes. The cost of freight Kennedy/Sheremetjevo is $5.00 per kilo plus $15 air waybill, and $250 customs clearance and handling charges. But you will have to arrange your own insurance.
Please fill in the enclosed Despatch Form and return it to us with the consignment and commercial invoices, one of which should be included in the parcel for customs inspection and clearance abroad. We will then undertake all formalities on your behalf, in accordance with our usual conditions.
We would also like to draw your attention to our packing services and attach our quotation for the packing if required.
Yours sincerely Sandro Boticelli Sandro Boticelli Cargo Manager
