b) Read the descriptions below. For each person, choose three adjectives from the list above. Use each adjective once only. There are two adjectives you do not need.
1. Keith is very well-educated and likes discussing serious subjects with his friends. He's a junior lecturer in philosophy at the university, but he's determined to become a full professor by the time he's 35. Unfortunately, he thinks he's more intelligent and important than anyone else.
Joanna is very good at art. She has lots of original ideas and paints the most amazing pictures. She understands other people's problems and feelings very easily. When she talks, she says a lot of clever and amusing things, which make people laugh.
You have to be careful what you say to David, because he gets angry and annoyed very easily. He never believes that anything good is going to happen, so it usually doesn't! Although he's quite well-off, he hates spending money.
Sue loves being with people and has lots of friends. She talks a lot, which can sometimes be a little tiring. She tends to do things on the spur of the moment, without considering the possible dangers or problems.
5. Everyone loves Martin. He never seems to worry about anything or get upset or annoyed. He's ready to listen to other people's ideas and opinions, even if they are very different from his own. On top of that, he's always giving people money or presents.
6. Marilyn is an actress. She's very proud of her beauty. She can be a difficult person sometimes, and there are days when she is depressed or annoyed for no good reason. Marilyn finds it difficult to trust people, and seems to think that everyone is doing something bad behind her back.
8. Choose your color in accordance with your character:
Each of us has a favourite color. Recent psychological studies prove that preference for a color can reveal the character of a person. Calm and peaceful people prefer one color, while those who are dynamic and active prefer another and so on. Which is your favourite color?
Green
If green is your favourite color, it means you are dynamic and quite active. You are very much aware of what is happening inside you and around you. You control your emotions very well and like to be open towards others. This balance allows you to understand every situation well and to make right choices. You are always looking to improve your situation and that of those around you. In fact you are ready to help everybody. You have a friendly character and-are very sociable.
Yellow
Yellow's a bright color, full of light, lively... like you. You are quite sociable and are full of brilliant ideas. You like to fantasize about your future and always like to discover new things in life. You are adventurous. But, perhaps you should pay more attention to reality instead of living in dreams.
