appropriate - suitable or right for a particular situation or occasion
I’ve been invited to her wedding but I haven’t got anything appropriate to wear. This isn’t an appropriate occasion to discuss finance. It wouldn’t be appropriate for me to comment. Her thin shoes were not appropriate for such muddy paths. Write in a style appropriate for your subject.
