5. Understanding meaning in short functional written text is very simple with regard to the immediate environment.

Basic Competence : 5.2 Responding to the meaning contained in the text is very simple short functional written accurately, fluently and acceptable with regard to the immediate environment.

6.1 Reveals the meaning of the idea in the short functional written text is very simple to use written language variety accurately, fluently and acceptable to interact with the immediate environment.

  4. Wedding cards

  5. Congratulations cards

Ask students to give comment about the card

Explain what characters can be learnt when we send greeting card to others

Give another example of greeting card

Give questions related to greeting card

Ask students to think the answer individually

Ask students to share and discuss the answer in pair

Ask students to share and discuss the answers with all members in group

Give a number for each person in group

Restate the questions and announce a number

Ask the person who rises the hand first to answer the questions

Review and check the answers

Explain the function, purpose and kinds of greeting card

Ask students whether any questions about the materials or not

Ask students to create their own greeting card based on the situation given in group

Ask students to display the greeting card in the wall

Ask students to divide each group into 2. 2 persons should stay in the group and explain their works to other students. 2 persons visit other groups and ask or the questions or give comment about other groups works. After that they take turn
