you teammates have advanced past a certain point, if they haven't you will be
killed instantly by the other team, and if they have you can help you r team

you teammates have rushed the tunnels yet or not, if they haven't but you
don't because you have no radar you will be killed almost instantly. Here is
a symbol list for the radar-
Red Dot- VIP for CTs on AS_ maps, and Bomb locations for Terrorists on DE_
maps
Purple Dot- Teammate

This is where you select your weapon/equipment, I strongly suggest typing
this into your console "hud_fastswitch 1" without the "s, this will make it
so you just press a number and it will pop the weapon out instead of pressing
the number and clicking making weapon switching quick and deadly. Here is a
list of what each number brings out-
1- Primary weapon, any weapon besides a pistol
2- Secondary weapon, a pistol
3- Melee weapon, Knife
4- Grenades, Flashes, HEs or Smokes
5- Bomb, if terrorist on a DE_ map

Health- This is where you can see how much health you currently have. You
will die once you hit zero. Your health CANNOT replenish, but it can go down
by either being shot, falling or being slapped.
Armour- This is where it shows your armour, you must buy armour to make this
meter go to 100. If you armour reaches 0 it is either because you didn't buy
any or because your armour got hurt so much it is useless. If your armour
reaches 0, you will NOT die, although your chances are higher.
Round Timer- The timer for the round, it will count down continually until
It hits zero, where then the round will end. If the bomb is planted the
timer will disappear. If the round is won before the time hits 0, the
round will restart.
Ammo Indicator- This is where you can see how much ammo is in the clip,
and how much you have overall. The first set of numbers are the bullets
you currently have in your clip. When it hits zero, it will automatically
reload for you if you set it to. If you want to reload in the middle of
a clip, hit [R] by default to do so.
Cash- This is where you can see how much money you have, any cash gains,
listed below will appear in green, any losses will appear in red. The
maximum cash you can have is $16000.

| [2.5] Steam Setup Guide
|----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
So you've started up CS and you have no clue what to do, you've come the
right
place. The first thing you'll need to play 1.6 is get steam. Get it at
www.steampowered.com. There are 3 versions of steam you can get.
One is a very small file (500k) and all the mods are downloadable, get this
if
you want more than CS, but not all of them. Another is ALL valve mods in 1
huge
package including Team Fortress Classic, Deathmatch Classic, Half-Life,
Opposing Force, Day of Defeat, Ricochet and Counter-strike, if you want all
the HL mods get this. The final one is the CS cache, if you only want CS, get
this.
Pick one and then install it. After going through the various steps, find a
server and connect to it.
