Зміст
навчального посібника та його структура
відповідають рекомендаціям Ради Європи
й орієнтовані на вимоги міжнародної
системи тестування ступеня володіння
англійською мовою (ІЕЬТ8). Відповідно
до рекомендацій Програми для вищих
закладів освіти з навчання англійської
мови для професійного спілкування,
посібник зорієнтований як на студента,
так і на процес навчання, і базується
на сучасних дидактичних принципах
викладання і вивчення мов, що гарантує
уі^і^млення мовних міжкультурних
особливостей та розвиток навчальної
компетенції, а також акцентуацію уваги
на соціокультурному змісті, текстовому
характері комунікації та професійному
контенті. Особливістю посібника є
інтегрований розвиток усіх (говоріння,
аудіювання, читання та письмо) мовленнєвих
умінь з метою підвищення ефективності
формування комунікативної компетенції
студентів за рахунок виконання професійно
вмотивованих комунікативних завдань.
Зміст посібника визначається принципами
його організації, а також базується на
міжнародних рівнях володіння мовою,
відповідає національним кваліфікаційним
рівням досягнень (ОКХ та ОПП), має чітко
сформульовані цілі навчання, ґрунтується
на професійних та навчальних уміннях;

тощо) та прагматичний зміст (практичні
уміння); ураховує попередній досвід та

The
content and structure of the textbook meet the internationally
recognized standards (CEF 2001) and take into account the
requirements of the lELTS system of communicative competence
assessment. According to the recommendations of the ESP National
Curriculum for Universities, the textbook is both student- and
language acquisition-centered, basing on modem didactic principles
of language teaching and learning that guarantees the reahzation of
intercultural differences and the development of cognitive
competence. The course also focuses on the sociocultural and textual
aspects of communication, as well as on its professional content.
The underlying idea of the integrative development of all skills
(speaking, listening, reading and writing) contributes to the
improvement of students’ communicative competence by means of
accomplishing professionally oriented communicative tasks. The
content of the textbook is the function of the principles of its
organization, the language proficiency levels as specified in the
CEF (2001) and meets the Ukrainian established national standards in
language teaching and learning. The course is based on the clear-cut
aims and objectives of teaching, professional and cognitive skills,
embracing the professional (job-related areas), situational
(job-related situations) and pragmatic (practical skills)
components; takes into account the students’ needs and experience;
has a modular structure.
