The control tower at a large airport received a message: “Pilot Jones to tower. My furl gauge is empty. What will I do?”
The operations agent, thinking the plane was about to make a forced landing, rushed to the mike, shouting: “Take it easy, pilot Jones. Don’t get excited. Where are you?”
