The Popularity of the Show in Russia
In Britain, almost everyone has heard about "Doctor Who." Unfortunately, in Russia, this series is not as popular as in the UK. However, we have people who heard about it or even watched this show.
To determine the popularity of the show, a survey was done. I wondered how many people watched the show, and how many have heard about it, because it was interesting for me. It was curious for me how many people share the tastes with me, i.e. know about my favourite show. So, I did survey and its results were really unexpected for me.
Almost 41% of the interviewed people have heard about this show. Surely, not so many people watched it (only about 13%), but I think it’s not a problem: the fact that at least lots of people have heard about «Doctor Who» says about the worldwide popularity of the series.
Thus, as any other fan I would like to see more people watch this series. But the number of viewers of the show makes me happy, because the show is becoming more popular in Russia.
And I hope that in future more people will watch the show and like it as much as I, because this series combines everything you would like to see in a TV show.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I would like to summarize everything written above. “Doctor Who” is one of the most interesting and remarkable series, which affected not only the UK, but also the world culture. It has millions of fans around the world, lots of whom live in Russia, too.
In addition, this series also has a practical use. You will not only enjoy the interesting stories and great acting, but will also know what to do in case of an alien invasion or other threat to humanity
Each year “Doctor Who” becomes more popular, and I believe that soon everybody will be happy to watch it. I really hope that someone will be interested by my work, watch the series, and maybe they will like it.
