5.2.5. Some possible ways of practical use of methods and results of diagnostics

5.2.5.1. Since a good estimation by eye is a necessary condition for a number of professions, its index should be taken into account in the process of professional selection. This is especially actual for the employees of force structures (army, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Federal Security Bureau, customs) and also for aviation, transport organizations and others.

5.2.5.2. Taking into account the fact that the estimation by eye develops simultaneously with the process of its diagnostics, it is reasonable to use this method for the development of estimation by eye of both children and grown-ups.

§ 3. The diagnostics of motive memory

5.3.1. General description

Motive memory is responsible for remembering, storing and reproducing of a man’s movements and actions. It is impossible to form motive skills and, consequently, the successful performance of many kinds of activity. That is why its diagnostics is actual for the representatives of different professions and different age groups.

Motive memory is diagnosed on the device ats-6 on cinematometer with the help of e.P. Ilyin’s technique (1981).

5.3.2. The procedure of diagnostics

5.3.2.1. Place the device ATS-6 and your examinee’s right hand on the panel of the device, as it is shown in the diagnostics of NS mobility-inertness, i.e. in accordance with item 3.2.2 of chapter III.

5.3.2.2. The examinee should remember the bar scale of cinematometer and then close his eyes.

5.3.2.3. Taking the examinee’s hand move it (together with the romper-suit) from the extreme left position to the right on 30-40 divisions and ask him to remember this movement. Then release the examinee’s hand and put down the given interval into column 2 of table 15.

5.3.2.6. Repeat this procedure (see items 5.3.2.3 – 5.3.2.5) five times. Put down the results into columns 2 and 3 of table 15 accordingly.

5.3.2.7. Then repeat this procedure five more times with the given interval in the range from 120 to 130 divisions. Put down the results into columns 4 and 5 of table 15 accordingly.

5.3.2.8. Then repeat this procedure five more times with the given interval in the range from 220 to 240 divisions. Put down the results into columns 6 and 7 of table 15 accordingly.
