5.1.6.3. The interpretation of results

5.1.6.3.1. The coefficient of emotional sensitivity (CES) reflects the quantitative characteristics of sensitivity to a corresponding influence.

The interpretation of the index of emotional sensitivity coefficient is carried out with the help of a diagnostic scale of sensitivity presented in item 2.3 of appendix 2.

5.1.6.3.2. The index of differentiated emotional sensitivity (DES) tells about the change of emotions’ qualitative characteristics under the influence of some effect. A change of FAH to the side of increase of a specific gravity of hemisphere activation, which is responsible for logical thinking, testifies to the amplification of gnostic emotions. On the contrary, a change of FAH to the side of increase of a specific gravity of hemisphere activation, which is responsible for figurative thinking, testifies to the amplification of emotions connected with figurative representations.

The interpretation of significance of differentiated emotional sensitivity index is made with the help of a diagnostic scale of sensitivity presented in item 2.3 of appendix 2.

5.1.7. Some possible ways of practical usage of methods and results of the diagnostics

5.1.7.1. The use of methods and results of the diagnostics of absolute and differential thresholds of sensations in motive analyzer.Motive analyzer plays an important role in the majority of kinds of human practical activity. In this connection he results of the diagnostics of absolute and differential thresholds of sensations in motive analyzer can be used:

  • In the process of professional selection, especially concerning professions making great demands to the sensitivity in motive analyzer: people dealing with clock assemblies, instruments assemblies, etc.; also sportsmen, musician-performers, surgeons, dancers and others.

  • In the process of professional training as a means of feedback during the development of motive sensitivity.

  • Working with invalids in order to develop their motive sensitivity, which is a compensator of other sense organs.

5.1.7.2. The methods and results of the diagnostics of sensitivity in visual analyzer can be used in the process of professional selection and the optimization of professional education of the representatives of the following professions: artists, builders, sportsmen, drivers of technical vehicles, draftsmen and many others.

5.1.7.3. The methods and results of the diagnostics of somatic sensitivity can be used in medicine when defining the somatic susceptibility to the working conditions and the environment.

5.1.7.4. The methods and results of the diagnostics of emotional sensitivity can be used in the process of professional selection and the optimization of professional education of artists, teachers, diplomats, etc.

§ 2. The diagnostics of spatial segments perception (estimation by eye)

5.2.1. General description

Estimation by eye is a basic ability for many kinds of activity, which requires precise visual perception and estimation of spatial segments. That’s why the successful performance of many kinds of activity, such as shooting, driving, transportation vehicles, sports activity (basketball, tennis, volleyball, box, football and others), industrial activity (procession of details, drawing, construction, etc.) depends on the estimation by eye.

However, it is necessary to take into account that estimation by eye is not the only condition of successful activity, which also requires special knowledge and skills. For example, the skill of shooting, alongside with the estimation by eye, presupposes the knowledge of aiming technique, pushing the trigger, respiration and so on. That is why diagnosing the estimation by eye only according to the results of activity is not correct. You should have a special technique realized with the help of appropriate device.

Such technique is realized on the device “ATS-6” with the help of a special instrument described in paragraph 1 of chapter 1. It is essential that this technique allows not only diagnosing the estimation by eye, but also it helps to develop it in the process of investigation.
