GenerallyourlanguagecoursesatuniversitiesinBritaindonottrainusforaparticular

profession.Weoftenhavetotakeavocationalpost·graduatecourseifwewantto

specialise,forexampleinteachingAndofteninareas,suchasbusrnessand1ndustryexpenence1nthatpartrcularareasrsneeded.Jobs1nbusrnessandrndustryareusuallyqu1tewellpardandthesamecanbesaidaboutinterpretingas1trsaverydemand1ngandcompeht1veprofess1on

UptohowI'vebeenaverybusiness-orientedperson.Iusedtodreamofmakingmywayuptothetopofsomefirmorother.Iwantedtoworkinpleasantsurroundings.tokeepcivilisedhours,tohaveanicesalaryandgoodcareerprospects.ButlatelyI'vebeenthink­ingalotaboutteachingasacareer.Ithinkthefeelingofjobsatisfactioninthisprofessionisthegreatest.TeachingEnglishtoforeignstudentsappealstome,Ireallylikethesoundofit.ThoughI'mnotsurethatI'llmakeagoodteacherasIlacktoleranceandself­discipline.

Quitefrankly,Iwouldn'tmindworkinginatravelagency.I'mthekindofpersonwho

findsitboringtostaytoolonginoneplace,IbegintogetItchyfeet.Andthisprofessioninvolvestravelling,seeingnewplaces,meetingnewpeople.SoI'mstillIntwomlnd1whatcareertochoose.Butthereissometimelefttomakeupmymind.Isimplywanttobehappy.
