Some hints about an interview

The purpose of any education or training is to find a good job. For this you have to mail a letter of application and resume. If you are lucky, the company or the firm gets interested in your resume. The next step is your interview. Remember the following things: what we do is often more important than what we say. The way we dress, the way we walk, the way we sit and where we sit, the way we look or don’t look at other people, how early or late we are – these things, which are all elements of nonverbal communication, are responsible for over 60 percent of the impression we make on the employer.

Here are a few Do’s and Don’t for the interviewed:

1. Don’t be late for the interview.

2. Be neatly dressed.

3. Listen to the questions attentively.

4. Don’t be surprised by a few simple questions at the beginning such as, for example, how you travelled to the interview.

5. Answer all questions to the point.

6. Don’t be too laconic in your answers.

7. Don’t be afraid to give your own views and opinions.

8. Be calm and polite during the interview.
