THE ADRENALIN GAME: TRUTH or DARE?
Rules of the game
Work in teams of three or four.
HOW TO PLAY
Each team throws the dice. The team with the highest score starts.
Teams take turns to throw the dice and move their counters round the board according to the number they throw.
When a team lands on a TRUTH or a DARE square, they nominate a team member, the ‘victim’, to answer a question, truthfully, or do a dare from the other team.
Teams must nominate a new victim each time until alt team members have had a turn.
Teams cannot use the same TRUTH or DARE twice, unless they have used all their TRUTHS and DARES.
After hearing the TRUTH or the DARE, the victim can say ‘change’ and take a DARE instead of a TRUTH, or vice versa. After saying change, the victim cannot go back to the original TRUTH or DARE.
If the victim will not answer a TRUTH or do a DARE, the team loses its turn and moves its counter back to the square it was on at the beginning of the turn.
The winner of the game is the learn that reaches the finish.
20 Play a game
The first speaker makes a sentence. One part of the sentence is in The Past Simple Tense and the other is in The Past Continuous Tense or in The Past Perfect Simple Tense. The next player begins the sentence with the subordinate clause of the first speaker, finishes this sentence and makes a new one. And so on in a chainlike way. The example is given in UNIT 1 Ex. 16.
21 Look at the text in Ex. 14. Make your own short story and tell it to your partner. Use The Past Simple Tense, The Past Continuous Tense and The Past Perfect Simple Tense.
