Abstract: This article discusses the issue of digitalization of the agro-industrial complex, namely the use of information technologies (drones, unmanned agricultural machinery and robotics, satellite communication and positioning systems, chips for animals, sensors, sensors, field controllers that
measure the parameters of soil, plants, microclimate, characteristics animals, etc.), thanks to which agriculture becomes “smart agriculture”, which allows to increase crop yields and animal productivity
and, as a result, increase the profits of agricultural producers.

Abstract: The article discusses some aspects of pre-sowing treatment of legume seeds in order to improve their sowing qualities. The main disadvantages of existing machines for seed scarification are analyzed, constructive and technological schemes are proposed to improve the quality of processing and reduce injury to legume seeds during scarification, as well as combining violation of the integrity of seed shells with their treatment with biological preparations (inoculation).
