12. The City of Tomorrow

I think that almost all people on the earth dream or imagine their future city.

I imagine it in a following way. The city will be light, thanks to modern buildings which will be painted only in light colors (pink, orange, yellow, light green). Each family will live in the personal cottage with all necessary conveniences: hot and cold water, a central heating, the water drain. All houses (monuments of wooden architecture) will be restored

The rivers will be full of valuable breeds of fishes (a sturgeon, a sterlet, muksun) and it will be possible to fish, sitting on river quay, every day. Roads in the city will be wide, smooth-asphalted, and movement without "traffic jams". Instead of the airport will be spaceport to reach any city of our country in some minutes. There will be a zoo in the city where it will be possible to see all animals of the world.

Children`s entertaining parks with set of amusing attractions and absolutely free that children with parents visited them daily. In a city will be grown up Siberian berries and mushrooms all year long in hothouses. It will be the capital of the winter Olympic Games in 2060. Doctors and hospitals will be the best in the country and we won`t have problems with our health thanks to new technologies, the Siberians will live till 150 years. The best universities of the country will be in this city, all inhabitants will be clever, well -educated and creative people. A lot of kindergartens with the best beautiful children`s toys will be in our future city. All schools will be comfortable, well equipped and full of new information technology.

13. Art in life

The role of art in our life Art is an all embracing notion (music, painting, theatre, literature and so on) . Art had the most important role in the development of the mankind. The first were found on walls of ancient caves. So we can guess that painting was the first way of art. Painting is the most understandable way of art, because it gives us the most full and vivid impression. Seneka once said: “All art is imitation of nature”. I don’t agree with him. I think that art has many functions and it’s hard to overestimate the role of art in one’s life. Art has great influence on our souls, feelings, forms our moral values. Art forms our outlook and enriches our inner world. Art influences greatly the development and of evolution of consciousness of a person and of the mankind. Art makes us think of the sense of life, how people must live, what is ideal of beauty, what is love the eternal questions. Art helps us to understand people who lived hundred years ago and to learn the history of the mankind. Art creates our notion about beauty and harmony. Art helps people to understand outside world and each other. Art develops our good qualities. Art has a great educational significance. Art brings people up - makes them more humane and kind.

The language of art is universal. Everybody, in spite of age, nationality, occupation understands what is said by the painter. Art gives people a possibility to express ourselves and to become famous. But I don’t think that every painter becomes famous. Only talented, genius people like da Vinci, Raphael and others can create great, eternal art, real masterpieces. Art is great only if it has links with people’s lives, interests, ideals.
