-Good morning / afternoon. My name is Chirkov Daniil. I am a first-year student of the Transportation Management Faculty of the Siberian Transport University. The topic of our resentation is the transport companies of the world. If you have any questions, ask them at the end of the presentation. -So, let's begin.

-Today we will talk about the four most famous transport companies. The first of which is the Federal Express Company. You can see it on the slide.

-FedEx is a corporation that provides transportation services in 211 countries of the world with the largest air fleet - more than 600 aircraft. The main direction is fast delivery of goods and logistics operations.

-Federal Express was founded by Frederick Smith in 1971. Memphis is the largest hub centers of the corporation.

-The company received a great popularity thanks to the film "Outcast" with Tom Hanks in the main role. The movie can be considered the longest advertising in the history of the company. In the movie, the hero is one of the managers of the FedEx company.

-The abbreviation PEC stands for the First Expeditionary Company.

-PEC delivers cargo throughout the territory of the Russian Federation .The company's services are used by more than 300 thousand customers per month.At present, the company has fulfilled more than one and a half million orders.And continues to develop

-In 1979 an interesting innovation was implemented to eliminate errors in the process of sorting items. DHL also became the first company that provided consumers with SMS-tracking service for tracking the route.

UPS was founded in the USA in 1907. UPS specializes in transportation and logistics in more than 200 countries around the world. In addition to providing postal services , they also perform management of operations with securities, creation of delivery networks.

-The history of UPS started with the smallest company. James Casey lent a hundred bucks from a friend for his small business. His company received orders by phone and carried out a range of instructions in Seattle. James Casey showed individuality, courtesy, provided round-the-clock service, offered low tariffs.
