4 Hometask. Preparation to laboratory work

4.1 To study theoretical material on literature [2.1.2.5] and to the methodical pointing to this laboratory work:

  • features of structural and functional construction of the managed and unregulated rectifying installations;

  • features and limitations, laid on circuit technology realization of separate submachines of devices of straightening;

  • processes of functioning of chart of the thyristor guided straightening, temporal diagrams of tensions and currents of her elements;

  • features of laboratory model.

4.2 To familiarize with the methodical pointing to this laboratory work.

4.3 To prepare the forms of report, where to bring information over, necessary, in opinion of student, in future for implementation of laboratory work.

4.4 It is necessary to get a clear idea of setting of every element of chart of straightening, purpose of every experience, expected curves and results.

4.5 To answer control questions.

4.6 To study the features of electric processes, протекаемых in different parts of chart of the guided rectifier.

5 Control questions

5.1 Principle of action and basic descriptions of out of control valve - diode and guided valve - thyristor.

5.2 What principle of adjusting of output tension of thyristor rectifier?

5.3 What adjusting corner? Give expl to family of regulation descriptions of the guided thyristor rectifier.

5.4 As character of loading of chart of rectifier influences on a size and form of output tension guided and out of control rectifiers.

5.5 Give expl to family of external descriptions guided and out of control rectifiers.

5.6 Do dignities and lacks of out of control and guided thyristor rectifiers consist in what?

5.7 What do the differences of electric processes consist in elements and chains of charts of the managed rectifier at the active loading and loading with an inductive reaction for the different values of adjusting corner?

5.8 What is the maximal corner of adjusting α of max equal to at the active loading and loading with an inductive reaction in the guided thyristor rectifier?

5.9 At what character of loading α of max anymore and why does this increase take place?

5.10 How does the coefficient of pulsation depend from the size of adjusting α corner and why this dependence takes place?

6 The Laboratory task. Table of contents of work

6.1 To study theoretical material on the recommended literature. To study the features of circuit technology realization of chart of the guided and out of control rectifiers, processes of functioning, application domains. To familiarize with the fundamental charts of model and features of their functioning.

6.2 To investigate the guided rectifiers - monophase однотактный at active (k = 1) and inductive (k = 2 - with the additional diode of VD2 and without him) character of loading and three-phase однотактный at active (k = 3) and inductive (k = 4 - with the additional diode of VD1 and without him) character of loading :

6.2.1 To investigate external (loading) descriptions of rectifiers.

6.2.2 To define output resistances of the guided rectifiers.

6.2.3 To define the percent lowering of output tensions of the guided rectifiers.

6.2.4 To define the coefficients of the use on power of secondary обмоток of transformer of ТV1 of the guided rectifiers.

6.2.5 To investigate regulation descriptions of rectifiers.

6.2.6 To investigate the processes of functioning of the guided rectifiers at active and inductive character of loading :

  • pulsations in the output chain of block of straightening of БВ and in the chain of loading of rectifier;

  • electric processes (currents and tensions) are in elements and chains of the guided rectifier.

6.3 To investigate out of control rectifiers (guided rectifiers at α = 0) - monophase однотактный: at active (k = 1) and inductive (k = 2 - with the additional diode of VD1 and without him) character of loading and three-phase однотактный at active (k = 3) and inductive (k = 4 - with the additional diode of VD1 and without him) character of loading :

6.3.1 To investigate external (loading) descriptions of out of control rectifiers.
