Методичні рекомендації

Розгляд першого питання варто почати із загальної характеристики внеску італійського політика та соціального теоретика Антоніо Грамші (1891-1937) у розвиток західного марксизму. Головну увагу слід приділити розробленій А. Грамші концепції «гегемонії» - центральному поняттю його політичної та соціальної теорії й, водночас, його головному теоретичному внеску у марксистську теорію. Концепція гегемонії як інструмент дослідження структур політичного панування; ідеологічний та культурний вимір гегемонії. Грамшіанські ідеї «історичного блоку» та «позиційної війни» (або «пасивної революції»). А. Грамші про механізми міжкласової комунікації і солідаризації інтересів.

У другому питанні потрібно проаналізувати розвиток ідей А. Грамші у неомарксистській теорії міжнародних відносин зусиллями таких її представників, як Роберт Кокс, Стефан Гілл, Кіс ван дер Пійл, Девід Лоу та ін. (т.зв. неограмшіанство). Розгляд питання варто почати з розгляду передумов актуалізації творчої спадщини А. Грамші у критичній теорії міжнародних відносин. Слід розкрити зміст неограмшіанської теорії гегемонії, охарактеризувавши специфіку трактування у ній природи світового устрою, світової політики та економіки, співвідношення економічних, політичних, соціальних, культурно-ідеологічних елементів у структурі світового устрою; варто порівняти неограмшіанську теорію гегемонії з теорією гегемоністської стабільності, сформованою у рамках неореалізму (Р. Кохейн, Р. Гілпін, Дж. Най та ін.).
