Protecting Images
You can protect important images and movies from accidental erasure.
1 Select [Protect].

2.Press the button.
• The protection icon appears on the lower left of image.
•Pressing the FUNC./SET button again Protection Icon cancels the setting.
•If you wish to continue protecting of another image, repeat operations.
•You can also protect images in the index playback mode.
•Press the MENU button to complete the setting.
Playback/Erasing

Erasing All Images
You can erase images from a memory card.
zNote that erased images cannot be recovered. Exercise adequate caution before erasing an image.
zProtected images cannot be erased with this function.
1 Select [Erase all].

•To exit instead of erasing, select [Cancel].
Please format the memory card when you want to erase not only image data but also all the data contained on the memory card (p. 141).
