Remember! (Запомните!) Для того чтобы найти нужное слово в словаре, нужно отбросить все окончания, например в тексте о зиме слово come идет с окончанием s, при поиске этого слова в словаре мы убираем окончание и ищем слово come. Большинство слов в английском языке многозначны, поэтому очень важно выбрать правильное значение. Обычно первое значение в словаре самое общее, тем не менее, нужно подобрать значение исходя их контекста (данного текста). Например, слово turn имеет первое значение «поворачивать», нам такое значение не подходит, смотрим дальше и видим значение «становиться» – это то, что нам нужно – Листья становятся желтыми (желтеют). |
