The aim of the work: acquaintance with automatic air switch, research of his work in mode overload and short circuit.

The order of performance of the laboratory work

To research the theoretical material sufficient to perform laboratory work. Answer to control questions and get admission in teacher to laboratory work.

By the scheme do electrical connection module for research electromagnetic release of automatic switch.

Setup minimal output voltage of autotransformer, turning the adjustment knob counter-clockwise until it stops. Turn on the automatic switch and switcher of differential current « Power supply ».

Connect the points 1 and 2 by the help of connecting conductor. With the help of autotransformer TV1 setup current in circuit 3.5A. Remove connection points 1 and 2.

Turn off QF1. Observe immediate operation. Current value write in table 1.

Wait the cooling of automate QF1 5 min then repeat it 5 times.

Conclusion
In carrying out this laboratory work we have become acquainted with the principle of the operation of the determination of the characteristics of a alternating current contactor and how it works. Also we acquainted the theoretical information about contactors and done our laboratory work on the laboratory stand.
At the end of the work we measured all quantities and write down it to our table.
