Spare Time
A: Do you go to the gym straight from the University?
B: No, I don’t. You see, my classes are over at 2.30 p.m. My keep-fit classes start at 5 p.m. So I go home first. There I have dinner and change my clothes. Then I rest a little.
A: And how long does it take you to get to the gym?
B: It takes me about ten minutes to get there.
A: Ann is having a party at 6 on Saturday evening. Are you coming?
B: Really? Unfortunately, I can’t. My boyfriend has already booked cinema tickets. The film starts at half past seven.
A: I see. And are you busy on Sunday evenings?
B: No, I’m not. In fact, I like to stay at home in the evenings on Sunday. You must relax sometimes. I like watching different Sunday shows or surf the Net. And what about you? Do you go out on Sundays?
A: Personally, I don’t watch television much. I love going out in the evenings. I’m going to the theatre this Sunday. Sometimes I just go to see my friends.
B: And do you enjoy the cinema?
A: Yes, I do. I love watching cartoons with my nephew!
Notes:
go out – зд. выходить на прогулку (в какое-либо общественное заведение)
