The speaking task

1.Describe the street, the house and the flat you live in. Describe one of the rooms: mention and describe the furniture, its location, colour, shape and material.

2.What is “HOME” for you? Do you miss it when leaving? What do you miss most? Do you like to invite guests? Why/ Why not? (See pp. 11-12.)

3.If you had choice where would you prefer to live: in the country side or in a city? Why (name arguments FOR your choice and AGAINST the opposite)? What kind of landscape would you prefer to look at from your window?

4.Choose any country and prepare a short description including its location, main geographical features (landforms, water basins, wildlife, etc.) using the words from the units. (See pp. 27-28.)
