Задание 1

Найдите в текстах уроков 13-18 (тексты 13-18) пять предложений с грамматической конструкцией «Сложное дополнение»(Complex object), изученной в курсе. Выпишете их и переведите на русский язык.

1. Every businessman knows marketing to be the process of determining the needs and wants of consumers and delivering products that satisfy those needs and wants.

Каждый бизнесмен знает, что маркетинг, это процесс определения потребностей и желаний потребителей и доставление продукции, удовлетворяющей эти потребности и желания.

2. They believe marketing to be a bridge from the producer to the consumer.

Они считают, что маркетинг есть мост от производителя к потребителю.

Переведите на английский язык следующие предложения, используя конструкцию «Complex object»:

1)Some companies work with recruiters to find applicants, especially for higher level jobs.2) Other companies will use social networking sites to recruit, in addition to using traditional means of recruiting like posting help wanted ads in newspapers and listing jobs on job boards.

1. Do you think that presentation skills are important for managers? Why?

I think, yes. Presentation skills are important for managers. When a person has presentation skills, his work will be done good.

2. What is market research?

Market research is a systematic and objective collection, processing, and analysis, interpreting using of information to solve marketing problems or opportunities.

If we do not know the value of the audience, it will not enter new segments.

3. Why are companies driven by the profit motive?

The market economy is an economic system where the means of production are owned by private individuals. Means of production refers to resources including money and other forms of capital. I f the companies will not be shit to more profits, they do not get more coverage of the market and lose their status.

4.Is unemployment a result of competition in the labor market?

No, information technologies become to play the main role in our lives. If computers have replaced people, humanity would be left without a job.

5. Is it important to protect nature and environment in the process of globalization?

If we do not protect nature and the environment, we will lose everything.
