Secondary education in Russia

The main secondary school’s course provides a basic knowledge of the main fields of science. Pupils gets knowledge about math, history, biology, Russian language, physical science

In Russian secondary schools teens study for 5-7 years. In school teachers teach them then give them tasks. And when pupils come back home, they do their homework.

Each course of study conducted by one teacher. There are about 6 classes pupil learn every day. Classes start at 8 am. Sunday is holiday.

Exams

After 7 years of studing pupils must write common state exam. It need to start getting university education. Most of pupils don’t like this exam, but anyway, they must pass this exam if they want to study in university

The students must choose math and Russian language on exams . Surrender exam is voluntary, but pupils usually choose those exams that are needed for admission to the selected institution.
