IV. Read the text and translate it into Russian. The computer and health Part II
Except electromagnetic radiation the computer creates an electrostatic field. It was proved experimentally that the electronic field promotes sedimentation of dust and aerosol particles on the face, neck, hands. Depending on nature of aerosol polluting particles some people, especially sensitive to similar influence, can have those or other skin reactions - dryness, allergy. Some cases of dermatitis on the face of users are known. But always when we speak about an electrostatic field, the speech goes about the minimal influence on health of man. The registered cases are actually individual and it concerns the users who are extremely predisposed to skin diseases.
One more harmful influence of an electrostatic field is the influence on ionic structure of air. The negative easy ions of air are biologically salutary but the positive ions have a harmful action on the organism. The main zones perceiving aero ions in the organism of a man are the respiratory ways and skin. Curative properties of mountain and sea air are its negative potential. Many ions are formed during a thunderstorm; therefore it is so easy to breathe after a thunderstorm. One of the basic absorbers of aero ions of air is the kinescopes of TV sets and monitors. There is a positive charge on their surface, and the environment air is worsened by neutralization of negative useful ions. The lack of easy ions in rooms with personal computers is noted and expressed in sensation unfreshness of air and shortage of oxygen. Probably, you noticed that it is always stuffy in rooms with computers, and heat usually results in unsatisfactory state of health, raised fatigue and headaches. Such problem really exists. The solution is simple: it is necessary to supply a good air conditioning and ventilation, and also to air the room with computer engineering. The brain of a man perceives the information from the visual analyzer - an eye - but only a fraction of all information. We relieve a perception of the unnecessary information, but at the certain time it can cause the exhaustion - specific reaction of organism on external influences. So, the airing of the room is reasonable. It is useful to walk or simply to relax in an armchair. The monitor of the computer is also a source of ultra-violet radiation, but it is much less than the radiation from usual solar light.
