The weather is usually wet in autumn. It often rains. The sky is covered with clouds. Sometimes there is fog at night.
Sometimes in November everything is covered with snow. The rivers and lakes are frozen. Cold hard winds often blow. The days become shorter and shorter, and the nights become longer.
Though Britain is famous for its frequent rains one can’t say it is the rainiest country in the world. In some regions В некоторых областях страны достаточно мало выпадает осадков.
Variant 2.
What a wet and windy day! It starts drizzling from time to time. In such weather one doesn’t want to go outside.
It is thirty degrees above zero outdoors and the temperature continues rising. The heat is unbearable, that’s why it’s impossible to stay indoors.
The best season in England is spring and early summer. Cold winds, fogs and heavy rains have gone and the warm sun shines all the day long.
