C.6.10 Table BJ, Failure Mode Indicator Mission Phase Code Characteristics Narrative. This Table may be used to identify compensating design provisions and compensating operator actions. Table keys consist of EIAC (EIACODXA), LCN (LSACONXB), ALC (ALTLCNXB), LCN Type (LCNTYPXB), Failure Mode Indicator (FAMOINBF), Mission Phase Code (MISSPCBL), Failure Mode Indicator Mission Phase Characteristics Narrative Code (FMMPCNBJ), and Failure Mode Indicator Mission Phase Code Characteristics Narrative Text Sequencing Code (TEXSEQBJ). For a given row of information, the following cross-element edits apply to Table BJ:
(a)If the Failure Mode Indicator Mission Phase Characteristics Narrative Code (FMMPCNBJ) is ‘A’, then this Table describes compensating design provisions which circumvent or mitigate the effect of the failure (Compensating Design Provisions, DED 049).
(b)If the Failure Mode Indicator Mission Phase Characteristics Narrative Code (FMMPCNBJ) is ‘B’, then this Table describes compensating operator action provisions which circumvent or mitigate the effect of the failure (Compensating Operator Action Provisions, DED 050).

DEF STAN 00-60 (PART 0)/4
ANNEX C
C.7.1 Table CA, Task Requirement. This Table contains task level information such as mean elapsed time, task frequency, task criticality, task identification (ID) and task code. It also contains information about personnel and training aspects of the task. In addition, this Table provides the capability to reference an entire task. Table keys consist of EIAC (EIACODXA), LCN (LSACONXB), LCN Type (LCNTYPXB), ALC (ALTLCNXB) and Task Code (TASKCDCA). For a given row of information, the following cross-element edits apply to Table CA:
(a)For referencing purposes only, Referenced LCN (REFLCNCA), Referenced LCN Type (REFTYPCA), Referenced ALC (REFALCCA), Referenced EIAC (REFEIACA), and Referenced Task Code (REFTSKCA) are mandatory keys. This referencing capability shall only be used when the data of this Table and the subordinate Tables (Tables CB through CM, except CJ) are the same for referenced and referencing tasks. All non-key attributes in Table CA and all subordinate Tables (Tables CB through CM, except CJ) are migrated from the Referenced Task and its subordinate Tables. Key attributes entered in Table CA will migrate to all subordinate Tables. Additional keys which are needed in subordinate Tables will be migrated from the Referenced Task and its subordinate Tables. In other words, only key entries and referenced entries are required in this Table and no further entries are required in subordinate Tables.
(b)Unscheduled task codes, task interval codes of ‘F’, ‘G’ or ‘J’ (2nd position of the task code), shall have an MB entered which corresponds to the MB for the AOR. For this reason, the AOR LCN (AORLCNCA), AOR ALC (AORALCCA), AOR LCN Type (AORTYPCA), and the AOR MB (AORMSBCA) shall match with a set of key values already established in Table AG.
(c)Every Task Code (TASKCDCA) shall have a Task ID (TASKIDCA).
(d)Secondary Means of Detection (SMDTECCA) is not allowed without Primary Means of Detection (PMDTECCA).
(e)Up to three Performance Standards (PRSTDACA, PRSTDBCA, and PRSTDCCA), and Task Conditions (TCONDACA, TCONDBCA, and TCONDCCA) can be entered for a given record.
(f)Every Task Code (TASKCDCA) shall have a corresponding Task Frequency (TSKFRQCA).
(g)If Requirements For (FTRNRQCA, TRNRQCCA or TSEREQCA) is ‘Y’, the associated Data Tables shall be addressed.
(h)Up to four Training Location Rationale (TRNLOCCA) codes may be entered for each unique combination of EIAC, LCN, ALC, LCN Type, and Task Code (codes shall be entered in a continuous string).

DEF STAN 00-60 (PART 0)/4
ANNEX C
(i)Up to four Training Rationale (TRNRATCA) codes may be entered for each unique combination of EIAC, LCN, ALC, LCN Type and Task Code (codes shall be entered in a continuous string).
(j)Measured Mean Man-Hours (MSDMMHCA) is calculated by summing the Mean ManMinutes (SUBMMMCD) per Subtask Person ID for the given task and dividing by 60.
(k)Measured Mean Elapsed Time (MSDMETCA) is calculated by summing the Mean Minute Elapsed Times (SBMMETCB) for all subtasks of a task and dividing by 60.
(l)Task Frequency (corrective) shall be calculated based on Failure Mode Ratio (Table BF), Failure Rate (Table BD), Mean Time Between Maintenance Induced (Table BD), Mean Time Between Maintenance No Defect (Table BD), AOR Conversion Factor (Table BA), and AOR (Table AG). Task Frequency (preventive) shall be calculated based on AOR (Table AG), AOR Conversion Factor (Table BA), Maintenance Interval (Table BH) or Task Interval Code, from subfield (b) of Task Code, DED 427 (Table CA). A change in any of these variables shall result in an update of Task Frequency (Table CA).
(m)Removal Route Condition Code (REMRCCCA) and Removal Route Number (REMRONCA) shall either both be blank or both have entries and only entered when Task Code (TASKCDCA) first subfield is set to ‘R’ or ‘H’.

C.7.2 Table CB, Subtask Requirement. This Table contains data related to the subtask level such as work area code and mean minute elapsed time. All task narrative will be written at the subtask level, then rolled into the task level. It is possible to reference subtask descriptions within this Table. Table keys consist of EIAC (EIACODXA), LCN (LSACONXB), LCN Type (LCNTYPXB), ALC (ALTLCNXB), Task Code (TASKCDCA), and Subtask Number (SUBNUMCB). For a given row of information, the following cross-element edits apply to Table CB:
(a)For referencing purposes, Referenced Subtask Number (RFDSUBCB), Referenced Subtask Task Code (RFDTCDCB), Referenced Subtask LCN (RFDLCNCB), Referenced Subtask ALC (RFDALCCB), Referenced Subtask LCN Type (RFDALCCB), and Referenced Subtask EIAC (RFDEIACB) shall be included as nonidentifying keys. This referencing capability shall only be used when the data of this Table and the subordinate tables (Sequential Subtask Description, Table CC and Subtask Personnel Requirements, Table CD) are the same for referenced and referencing subtasks. All non-key attributes in Table CB and its subordinate tables (CC and CD) are migrated from the referenced subtask and its subordinate tables.
(b)Subtask Numbers (SUBNUMCB) shall begin with 001 and run through to 999 for each unique set of keys (eg, EIAC, LCN, ALC, LCN Type, and Task Code). Gaps are allowed when assigning subtask numbers.
(c)Subtask Work Area Code (Access) (SUBWAACB) shall only be entered if there is an entry in Subtask Work Area Code (Zone) (SUBWAZCB).
NOTE: If there is a requirement to roll up data modules to a main task and therefore identify the support resource requirements for a Data Module, as defined in Part 10 of this Defence Standard, then the number of subtasks per task shall be limited to 1 and Subtask Identification (SUBTIDCB), Referenced Subtask EIAC (RFDEIACB), Referenced Subtask LCN (RFDLCNCB), Referenced Subtask ALC (RFDALCCB), Referenced Subtask LCN Type (RFDTYPCB), Referenced Subtask Task Code (RFDTCDCB) and Referenced Subtask Number (RFDSUBCB) shall all be blank.

C.7.3 Table CC, Sequential Subtask Description. This Table contains the sequential task narrative entered at the subtask level. The narrative will be entered in order to document all subtasks required to perform the task under analysis. Subtasks should be detailed and sequenced to eliminate possibilities of technically incorrect procedures. Elements are subordinate to subtasks. All requirements (eg, power, compressed air, and environmental considerations) shall be specified. Qualifying notes shall be included when performance to particular standards, survivability requirements, inspection criteria, special procedures, tolerances, measurement ranges, cautions and safety precautions are required. Notes and warnings for set up of tasks (eg, identifying support items which need to be on hand and ready, but are not needed until later in the task) should be documented in the first subtask. Similarly, notes and warnings for close-down of a task should be documented in the last subtask. In cases of multi-personnel tasks, the communication and coordination requirements between personnel shall be documented (ie, communication and coordination between individuals in one work area with individuals in another area). Table keys consist of EIAC (EIACODXA), LCN (LSACONXB), ALC (ALTLCNXB), LCN Type (LCNTYPXB), Task Code (TASKCDCA), Subtask Number (SUBNUMCB), and Text Sequencing Code (TEXSEQCC). For a given row of information, the following cross-element edits apply to Table CC:
(a)The Task Element Indicator ‘E’ (ELEMNTCC) is documented against the first line of a given element narrative and is blank for all subsequent lines of that element narrative.
(b)Task Element narratives shall begin on unique lines (unique Text Sequence Codes) eg, one task element cannot end on line 12 and the next task element also begin on line 12.

C.7.4 Table CD, Subtask Personnel Requirement. This Table contains information pertaining to personnel and support requirements for each entered subtask. Table keys consist of EIAC (EIACODXA), LCN (LSACONXB), ALC (ALTLCNXB), LCN Type (LCNTYPXB), Task Code (TASKCDCA), Subtask Number (SUBNUMCB), and Subtask Person Identifier (SUBPIDCD). For a given row of information, the following cross-element edits apply to Table CD:
(a)SSC (SKSPCDGA) and New or Modified SSC (MDCSSCGB) are migrated into this Table as non-identifying attributes, which means that they are not required to uniquely identify an instance of the entity.
(b)Unique Subtask Person IDs (SUBPIDCD) may be assigned to each person required to perform a subtask and used consistently throughout the entire System/EI. If this method of Subtask Person Identification is not used, then from one task to another, the same Subtask Person ID code may be repeated for different personnel.
(c)Trade Code Manpower (TCMANPCD) shall be calculated by summing the number of rows of data for identical entries of EIAC (EIACODXA), LCN (LSACONXB), ALC (ALTLCNXB), LCN Type (LCNTYPXB), Task Code (TASKCDCA), Subtask Number (SUBNUMCB) and the specific Trade. Trade is identified in SSC (SKSPCDGA) or New or Modified SSC (MDCSSCGB), as applicable for any Subtask Number (SUBNUMCB).
(d)Trade Code Manpower (TCMANPCD) cannot be calculated unless SSC (SKSPCDGA) or New or Modified SSC (MDCSSCGB), as applicable for any Subtask Number (SUBNUMCB), is entered for all rows of data for a given Task Code (TASKCDCA).
(e)Trade Code Manpower (TCMANPCD) cannot be established for a Task Code (TASKCDCA) function other than Remove and Fit, or Replace (‘R’,’G’ or ‘H’).
