C.14.1 Table ZA, Ammunition PHS&T Requirements. This Table contains consolidated ammunition management data in accordance with Ammunition and Explosive Regulations (A&ERs) for Director Land Service Ammunition (DLSA) use. Table keys Ammunition Item CAGE Code (CAGECDZA) and Ammunition Item Reference Number (REFNUMZA) migrate from Table HA. For a given row of information, the following cross-element edits apply to Table ZA:

(a)If Ammunition Hazard and Compatibility Code Subsidiary Risk 1 (SUBRSAZA) is ‘6’ and Subsidiary Risk 2 (SUBRSBZA) is ‘8’, Breathing Apparatus (BRTHAPZA) shall be ‘Y’ and Protective Clothing (PRTCLTZA) shall be ‘Y’.

(b)If Ammunition Container Assembly (AMMOCAZA) is entered, Ammunition Container (AMMOCRZA) shall not be blank.

(c)If Ammunition Unit Load Container Indicator (UNITLCZA) is ‘Y’, Ammunition Unit Load Specification (UNITLSZA) shall be blank.

(d)If Ammunition Unit Load Container Indicator (UNITLCZA) is ‘N’, Ammunition Unit Load Specification (UNITLSZA) shall not be blank.

(e)If Ammunition Unit Load Specification (UNITLSZA) is entered, Ammunition Unit Load Container (UNITLCZA) shall be blank.

C.14.2 Table ZB, Ammunition Type Narrative. This table contains narrative information about the type of ammunition, in accordance with A&ERs for DLSA use. Table keys are Ammunition Item CAGE Code (CAGECDZA), Ammunition Item Reference Number (REFNUMZA), Ammunition Type Text Sequencing Code (TEXSEQZB) and Ammunition Narrative Code (AMNRCDZB). For a given row of information, the following cross-element edit applies to Table ZB:

(a) If Ammunition Narrative Code (AMNRCDZB) is ‘A’, then NATO Ammunition Reporting Code (NARCODZA) in Table ZA shall not be blank.

NOTE: If Ammunition Narrative Code (AMNRCDZB) is ‘A’, then Ammunition Type narrative should pertain to the associated NATO Ammunition Reporting Code (NARCODZA) in Table ZA.

The Ammunition Narrative Codes (DED 610) correspond to the different types of narrative. The following list gives each of these codes, related narrative title, and DED number to refer to for an understanding of the information that needs to be input:
