Revision Note
This revision of Def Stan 00-60 is primarily intended to rectify functional difficulties.
Inconsistencies and errors in the structure of some of the reports and Data Element Definitions in Part 0 have been corrected. References to Crisis Resupply from Industry Procedure (CRIP) and associated data tables and elements have been removed. The new 'CADMID' procurement phases have been introduced and will be fully assimilated in a future issue.

PART 0: MOD APPLICATION OF INTEGRATED LOGISTIC SUPPORT (ILS)
PREFACE
This Defence Standard supersedes Def Stan 00-60 (Part 0)/Issue 3 dated 31 January 1999
iThis Part of the Defence Standard defines the Ministry of Defence (MOD) requirement for the application of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) principles in the through life management of defence equipment.
iiThis Standard has been agreed by the authorities concerned with its use and is intended to be used in all future designs, contracts, orders etc and by amendment to those already in existence. If any difficulty arises which prevents application of the Defence Standard, the Defence Standard 00-60 Help Desk shall be informed so that a remedy may be sought.
iiiAny enquiries regarding this Standard in relation to an Invitation To Tender (ITT) or a contract in which it is incorporated are to be addressed to the responsible technical or supervising authority named in the ITT or contract.
ivThis Standard has been devised for use of the Crown and its contractors in the execution of contracts for the Crown. The Crown hereby excludes all liability (other than liability for death or personal injury) whatsoever and howsoever arising (including, but without limitation, negligence on the part of the Crown, its servants or agents) for any loss or damage however caused where this Defence Standard is used for any other purpose.
