INTEGRATED LOGISTIC SUPPORT
PART 20: MOD APPLICATION OF SUPPLY SUPPORT
Section One. General
0 Introduction
This part of this Defence Standard describes the MOD policy for application of Supply Support in accordance with the ISSP detailed at Parts 21 to 26 of this Defence Standard. It shall be read in conjunction with Part 0 and Part 10 of this Defence Standard, and with AECMA Specification 2000M (S2000M). ISSP represent the tailored profile of S2000M to meet generic MOD UK needs, and be compatible with other logistic activities. Further tailoring may be required for individual contracts. Parts 21 to 26 of this Defence Standard, contain both guidance on the application of S2000M, and contractual requirements. ISSP shall not be applied without reference to S2000M which contains additional detail. All statements in S2000M which relate to air vehicles and associated equipment shall apply equally to any equipment, unless specifically defined by this Part of this Defence Standard.
1 Scope
The scope of this Part of the Defence Standard is:
(a)To explain the relationship of ISSP to S2000M, and the maintenance of configuration between S2000M and this Defence Standard.
(b)To amplify the contractual requirements of Part 0 of this Defence Standard with particular respect to ISSP,
(c)To give guidance on tailoring of S2000M for use by MOD and its contractors.
