Section Six. Parts Information
17 Introduction
17.1 This Section of this Defence Standard covers the application of the DM concept to parts information derived from the LSA Process. This section describes the presentation and provision of parts information.
18 Preparation of Parts Information (General)
18.1 Parts information shall be presented in DM form.
19 Provision of Parts Information
19.1 Table 2 identifies the minimum requirements for data elements that shall be included in spares list DM.

19.2 Maintenance task DM
19.2.1 Parts information shall be detailed in a DM under the heading of ‘Consumable, Materials and Expendables’, as per S1000D Chapter 3.3.3.
19.3 Parts Information in List Format
19.3.1DM containing a list of parts shall be provided using the appropriate IC (eg 071, 072, 073, 074 and 075).
19.3.2Lists relating to more than one task shall be compiled from the lists in clause 19.3.1, on output, ie the SNS 00-00-00 with an IC 075 would give a list of all parts. S1000D Chapter 3 refers.
19.4 Display of the information and any associated graphics shall be in accordance with Section 9 of this Part of this Defence Standard.
