Expressing and justifying opinions
Well, I think (a dining room is a functional room because you use this room in your flat while eating).
In my opinion, (a dining room is the best place in my flat because the whole family enjoy spending time and talking to each other while eating).
What I mean is (that a dining room is a place where the whole family usually gather together).
I’m thinking about (a room where the whole family can spend time and talk to each other).
Expressing preferences
I like (living in a flat) better than (living in a house).
I (would) prefer (a house of my own) to (a big comfortable flat).
I prefer (living in a flat) to (living in a house).
It depends. Sometimes I’d like to (live in the house of my own) but other times I’d like to (live in a flat on the top floor).
