The book Concepts in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Drug Development provides comprehensive coverage of the development of new pharmaceuticals and the enhancement of existing ones. There is a growing recognition among companies in various industrial sectors about the signicance of sustainable development and the promising opportunities presented by biotechnology. The implementation of biotechnology has the potential to enhance the eco-friendliness of industrial processes and reduce both nancial and operating expenses. Additionally, it has the potential to decrease the usage of raw materials and energy while also minimizing waste. The primary objective is to offer a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical biotechnology, including its underlying principles and practical applications from an industrial standpoint. The book provides a thorough overview of the ways in which biotechnology inuences drug development, production, and regulation, and is a valuable resource for those seeking to enhance their understanding in this area. This book is designed to support educators in their teaching efforts and offers a readerfriendly exploration of the various stages involved in the development of new pharmaceuticals through biotechnology. This book is a valuable resource for individuals at various stages of their academic and professional careers, including undergraduates, graduates, pharmaceutical scientists, clinicians, and academic researchers. It provides convenient access to current practices in pharmaceutical biotechnology, making it particularly useful for those working in the interdisciplinary eld of biochemistry, pharmacology, biopharmaceutics,and biotechnology. This book's concise and impartial content structure may also prove advantageous to corporate researchers.
