in Upgradation Training Program of Registered
Pharmacists organized by West Bengal Pharmacy
Council in Burdwan Medical College in 2018 and also
delivered another speech on “Phytochemical Screening
for the Development of Herbal Medicine” in the 2nd
National Conference of Society of Pharmaceutical
Education and Technology (SPET) in Mehr Chand
Polytechnic College in Jalandhar, Punjab, as a resource
person. He was in the position of State Secretary
(2016-2022) of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers
of India (APTI) and life member of Society of
Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER).
Presently, he is the CEC member of Association of
Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI).
Dr. Bose has been the Chairperson of Scientic
Session of AICTE Sponsored National Conference on
“Complex Diseases, Novel Therapeutics & Delivery
Challenges,” 2014, Gupta College of Technological
Sciences, Asansol, West Bengal, India. He has become
a member of many scientic committees of different
national and international conferences. And at last, he
has become the Executive Editorial Member and
reviewer of many national and international journals.
AmriteshChandraShukla (b. 25 July 1973) did his
D.Phil. and D.Sc. in Botany from the University of
Allahabad, Allahabad and is an energetic Professor
(Dept of Botany, University of Lucknow, Lucknow,
India) and passionate researcher. He served as Reader/
Professor and Head of the Department of Horticulture,
Aromatic and Medicinal Plants, Mizoram University,
Aizawl (2007–16). He has been working on plant
pharmaceuticals, natural products, drug development,
and patenting, since 1995. He standardized various
scientic methods viz. MSGIT, MDKT MS-97, and
NCCLS (2002-03), successfully handled six major
research projects, and is supervising one European
Union Project (No. 8944160). He has developed commercial herbal drug formulations and holds patents in
the USA, UK, Japan, and India. Besides this, he supervised master’s (21) and Ph.D. thesis (10) and published 118 research papers/articles in nationally and
internationally reputed journal as well as ten books
(authored 04, edited 06) published by CRC Press
(2019), Springer (2020), etc.

He serves as Editor, Associate Editor, and Member
of the Editorial Board of many internationally reputed
journals such as American J of Food Technology, J of
Pharmacology & Toxicology, and Research J of
Medicinal Plants and as reviewer for Scientic Reports,
Int. J. of Dermatology, European J. of Medicinal Plants,
African J. of Agricultural Research, Int. J. of Agricultural
Chemistry, and J of Herbs, Spices & Medicinal Plants.
Prof. Shukla has vast overseas experience in initiating to cooperate R&D for medicinal and aromatic plants
among India and several countries in Asia and the
Pacic regions. He has been invited speaker in IndoBrazilian Symposium (2020); delivered a lecture and
chaired a session at ISHS-IV Asia Symposium on
Quality Management in Postharvest Systems, Jeonju,
Korea (2017); Member of the International Society for
Horticultural Science, Belgium; invited scientist CAF,
Gold Coast, Australia (2004); CAF, Fresno, USA
(2000); 7th IWCSPP, Beijing, China (1998); and 4th
EFPP, Berlin, Germany (1996), for his professional
expertise and activities. He has also been a Visiting
Professor at the University of Mauritius (2014); a
Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia,
Canada (2013-14); a Member of the expert panel for
promotion to Professor in the Department of Botany
and Microbiology, College of Science, King Saud
University, Saudi Arabia (2018); and a member of the
Research Degrees and Scholarships Committee at
Murdoch University, Perth, Australia (2019-21).
For his outstanding scientic contribution, Prof.
Shukla has been honored Y.S. Murty Memorial Gold
Medal; Prof. R.C. Pant Memorial Award; NESA—
Scientist of the Year Award; ISC—Member of the
Sectional Committee, Plant Sciences Sec of the 101st
Indian Science Congress; and IPS Medal-98. He has
been the Executive Councilor—Indian Botanical
Society; Chairman—International Symposium on
Sustainable Horticulture (ISSH-2016); Member—State
Level Steering Committee for National Mission on
Medicinal Plants, Government of Mizoram; Program
Coordinator—Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore;
Program Coordinator—CSIR-CIMAP Training;
Convener—ASSOCHAM Conference; Course
Director—RAMAPS; and Convener—NCNRM, India.
Besides this, he is Fellow—Ethnobotanical Society;

Botanical Society; Fellow—International Young
Scientist Association; and Fellow of the Linnean
Society of London (2021).
Mirza R. Baig is currently working as a Dean and
Professor in Clinical Pharmacy in Dubai Pharmacy
College for Girls. He did his Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacy
from University Science Malaysia (USM), Malaysia.
He worked in Malaysia and India and has international
teaching and research experience of about 20 years. He
has been recognized as one of the top scientists in the
world in the scientic index for 2022-23. He has one
German patent 2022, in collaboration with King Abdul
Aziz University, Saudi Arabia. He published ve books
as coauthor related to Clinical Pharmacy and recent one
in Elsevier publication in June 2020 on
Pharmacovigilance. He published about 80 research
papers and articles in international journals with a
recent paper published in Inammopharmacology, a
part of Springer Nature journal, 2023. He has been
invited as a chairperson, speaker, and moderator in
many international conferences and seminars. He serves
on the editorial board of various international journals,
including reviewer for a couple of Elsevier journals. He
supervised numerous master’s and Ph.D. students for
their research projects. He also reviewed several master’s and Ph.D. thesis for Indian and foreign universities
as an external examiner. He received many awards in
his career, such as Best Research Project 2019, in a conference held at the University of Sharjah, Best Professor
in Clinical Pharmacy in Middle East Educational
Awards 2018; Best oral presentation in DUPHAT Dubai
2017; Best Quality Poster in 2016in DUPHAT Dubai;
an Outstanding scientist by a research foundation in
India 2016; Best oral presentation in Dubai 2015 &
2014; young scientist award in Malaysia in 2013; and
Best presentation award in IPC, Chennai 2003, in India.
His areas of research are pharmacoepidemiology, drug
safety and efcacy, drug utilization studies, pharmacovigilance, and public health.

Sabyasachi Banerjee (b. 22 November 1992) is an
Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical
Technology, Gupta College of Technological Sciences,
Asansol, in Paschim Barddhaman District, West Bengal.
He did his Master of Pharmacy in Quality Assurance
and Pharma Regulatory Affairs from Gupta College of
Technological Sciences, Asansol, West Bengal, and is
pursuing a Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Technology) on
plant-based phytochemicals (isolation, characterization, preparing semi-synthetic derivatives, and so on)
from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of
Technology (formerly known as West Bengal University
of Technology), Haringhata. He served as Assistant
Professor for more than 7 years in Maulana Abul Kalam
Azad University of Technology. Sabyasachi Banerjee
also played a role as an editor in an edited book namely
Medicinal Spices and Herbs from India, 2-volume set
(Volume 1: Introduction, Therapeutic Properties, and
Commercial Products/Volume 2: Benecial Health
Effects of 20 Exotic Spices), which is being published
by Apple Academic Press (AAP) along with CRC Press
(Taylor & Francis Group). He has already published
more than 33 research papers/articles in internationally
reputed journals like Coordination Chemistry Reviews
(Elsevier, IF-20.6), Pharmacology and Therapeutics
(Elsevier, IF-13.5), Pharmacological Research
(Elsevier, IF-9.3), Cells (MDPI, IF-6), Cancers (MDPI,
