2.Receiving and inspection

When you receive the AX309 development board, the first thing is of course to take a good look at the "face" of the development board. If you find that the development board has been "disfigured" during transportation, please contact our customer service immediately. The development board is packaged by the packaging machine before leaving the factory. After it is received, please check whether it is unopened. If there is any unpacking, please contact our customer service.

The next step is to power up the test. The AX309 development board has undergone many rounds of rigorous testing before it leaves the factory, and the DEMO program has been solidified into the SPI FLASH on the development board (the cured program is the DEMO_A test program under the 08_DEMO folder). The DEMO_A program is used to detect the functions of various hardware modules on the development board. In addition, three

4.3-inch pictures stored in the SPI FLASH are used to display the pictures on

the LCD screen when the development board is connected to an external 4.3-

inch LCD module. The FLASH address space allocation for the DEMO A

program and 3 image memories is as follows:

3.Power on detection

The AX309 development board does not come with its own power supply adapter. Instead, it provides power through the computer's USB port. After the user gets the development board, connect the USB port of the PC and the power port (PWR) of the development board with the included red USB cable. Can supply electricity. Then press the black power switch button SW1 on the development board, and the development board runs electrically. At this time,

the power lamp PWR is on and the CONFIG lamp is on, indicating that the

FPGA configuration is successful. The four user LED lights (LED1~LED4) on

the development board start the running light motion, indicating that the FPGA

program is running.

(1). Digital tube working test

After the development board is powered on, the 6-bit digital tube will display and immediately count up from 000001. The lowest count frequency is 0.1 second. When the lower bit is full, it goes to the high position

(2). Buzzer working test

After the development board is powered on, wait for 1~2 seconds. The buzzer will send a SOS SOS signal. If you do not hear the buzzer sound, you need to confirm the CB1 jumper cap next to the buzzer on the

development board. If it is plugged in, the buzzer will not sound when the jumper cap of CB1 is not inserted.

(3). Serial port UART test

The UART communication port and power port of the AX309 development board share a USB port.

Serial port to USB bridge chip CP2102 Uart signal for FPGA and PC USB signal conversion. Before serial communication we need to install the CP2102 driver on the computer. The driver installation file can be found in our provided CD-ROM file and double-click CP210x_VCP_Win_XP_S2K3_Vista_7.exe to start installation.

PDF After the driver is successfully installed, open the device manager of the PC. The

device manager has found the serial device CP210x. The PC has assigned the COM3 port to the serial port.

Then open the serial port debugging assistant tool under the TOOL directory, set the port communication parameters as follows and click to open the serial port button:

PDF Open the power supply of the development board. At this time, you can

see the real-time clock (RTC) data sent from the development board to the PC on the interface of the serial port tool. The development board will send data to the C every second.

(4). Keys and VGA display test

Use a VGA cable to connect the VGA monitor and the board's VGA connector (J4). After connecting, see the following figure:

AfterPDFthe development board is powered up, the following vertical bars are displayed on the VGA monitor:

When we press KEY2 on the development board, the image on the

VGA monitor turns into a black and white square:

When we press KEY3 on the development board, the image on the VGA monitor willPDFchange to a grayscale gradient:

When we press KEY4 on the development board, the image on the SD card will be displayed on the VGA monitor. If the SD card is not inserted, no image will be displayed. We will test the SD card in the next section.

We press KEY1 on the development board again, and the image on the

VGA monitor changes back to the vertical color bar.

(5). SD card test

First the user needs to prepare a Micro SD HC card. The following is the

8G Kingston SD HC card we use:
