MfOPs of the Human Retina

387

CONCLUSION

Oscillatory potentials recorded multifocally provide an insight into the function of the inner retina. Despite their small amplitude, they can be used for diagnosis, and the topographical information obtained can increase their sensitivity over fOPs in allowing early detection of retinal dysfunction. Individual response waveform peak analysis may help to dissect disease mechanisms and thus increase the diagnostic value of mfOPs in the clinic [37].
