Addendum

Six years after the episode described here, stromal infiltrates developed at 11 and 1 o’clock close to the corneal limbus. Two months later, disciform keratitis located centroparacentrally in the nasal part of the cornea appeared. Later, after 7 years symptom free, the patient suffered two recurrences of stromal keratitis at the superior limbus. After 17 years, the area shown in Fig. 3.20 was still well discernible with the slit lamp as a superficial grayish shadow.
