1. We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us. Do you believe that travel can help you escape from your problems?
I found this quote to be really interesting. It talks about reasons people travel. For most people, travelling is a positive means of escape. It's natural to want a break from routine, from work, from problems, from responsibilities and the people who drive you crazy on a daily basis. Otherwise, I believe traveling isn’t a way of escaping life but of living it. Traveling allows you to experience the world through a set of new eyes. When you find yourself in a new place you start exploring new things. Travelling always introduces us to new challenges, new scenery and new people, so that's why people say "travel broadens the mind".
I agree that travelling can't help you escape from your problems, but in other way travelling proves to be the best idea as it gives mental peace and so much time to relax, which also helps in increasing productivity to manage them.
By the way of conclusion, I'd like to bring forth the Idea that travelling is never an escape, instead it is the start of a journey into the future, and it holds almost unlimited opportunities and life is about living, not just passing time, and travel helps you enjoy your life and prevent it from escaping and passing you by before you realize it.
2. A physical attraction is common, but mental connection is rare. Is beauty in the eye of the beholder?
It is commonly said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but is it true? For centuries, people have developed their own ideal of beauty. Whether in art and painting, whether in ordinary life. However, is it worth saying that beauty is a subjective thing? Yes, it's worth it. It is impossible to proclaim the ideal of beauty that which absolutely everyone will like. For some, a person will seem beautiful, for someone - terrible, it all comes from personal discretion. Therefore, in every person there is beauty, the most important thing is the ability to see the beauty that is in a person. Everyone can judge by appearance, but not everyone can pay attention to the personal qualities of a person and his features. Since everything that we consider beautiful comes from the depths of our soul, and no standards can distort this look.
3. Who do you consider to be a genius?
Being a genius isn’t as simple as being smart or having a high IQ. Geniuses are considered to be people who were born with outrageous intelligence, creativity, self-awareness and so on.
But if you don’t take the word genius literally, I think nothing is beyond your reach, everyone could become a so-called genius by working hard and reaching your goals.
Me personally, I would consider myself a genius, because I’m kind a delusional and I think everyone should be. If you think you’re good at learning languages you eventually WILL become a language learning monster, if you think you’re good-looking, people will start thinking that too, even if you’re not. The main point is that you should believe in yourself, and if you do, people will also.
4. What is your favourite work of art, and why?
I actually have 2 favorite pieces of art: first one is a performance artwork called “Can’t help myself” by 2 conceptual contemporary artists and the second one is «The Appearance of Christ Before the People» by a famous painter Alexander Andreevich Ivanov. The first piece is very complicated to talk about but I love its deeply touching and provocative design. So moving on to the second one - «The Appearance of Christ Before the People» by a Russian painter Alexander Ivanov is a grandiose oil painting on canvas depicting an evangelical scene. The narrative of the painting is based on the first chapter of the gospel according to John. It took 20 years to make and it is now exhibited in Tretyakov Gallery. I would say that there is no clear foreground and background because it’s such an apprehensive piece of art that you get drawn into it and all the borders are smudged. So upfront we can see many different people from the Bible and what’s connecting the two grounds together is the person pointing to the picture of Jesus in the back. Its style is naturalistic and details can only be seen when you look at them closely in person. I don’t think the internet still has the power to appreciate and give the needed credit to this absolutely enormous and significant piece of art. This painting makes me feel faithful, inspired and it’s always keeping me engaged. The more I look at it the more it opens up to me, the more details I see, the more emotions on people’s faces are being revealed, the more leaves I see. This painting can never lose its’ importance, impact and interest because the canvas itself is more than 5 meters high and 7 meters wide, it has too much to look at, too much to think about, too much to like.
5. If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you!
Learning is one of the most essential thing in life. Everyone need to be learnt. It is a key to success. But if a person doesn’t want to be learnt there is no way to push him for learning. One of the most important aspect in learning is a self-discipline and a wish to get a knowledge. If you aren’t willing to learn, no one, no teacher, no professor can make you smart. A lot of depends on a student. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you. It is true. If you have a goal to be learnt and to be educated you make everything to achieve it. If you want, you will be reading books, making tasks, learning something new and no one even needed for your education. If a person want to learn, he or she makes it without any efforts. If there isn’t a willing to learn it isn’t worth trying to learn such a person.
6. These are the days of our lives: advantages and disadvantage of being a student.
One of the most memorable and life-changing stages of life is that of student life. Entering to university, we are making a lot of new friends, learn new things. The students themselves express differently opinions. The following advantages of being a student are highlighted.
Friends are a big reason why a student’s life is colourful and fun. Like-minded people usually become friends very easily and student’s life is the best platform to find those like-minded. Most of the companies, looking for candidates, who are well educated digitally. These tools that students learn in classrooms can help them gain a well job in the future. The studentship is ideal for visiting
other countries for internships or exchange studies, training language skills and the ability to adapt to an unfamiliar team.
Studying at the university many students face problems. Starting from lack of time, ending with disappointment in the chosen profession. Many students remain dissatisfied with the fact that they have to study subjects that are not related to their specialty. This can cause conflicts with teachers. Starting from the first exam, students experience severe stress, which has a bad effect on their body and further successful completion of the session. Looking for a job, students face difficulties because employers do not want to take them to work, as they have no experience. Students have to look for low-paying part-time jobs to afford to buy something.
I believe, entering in university, a person understands where he is going, and is ready to withstand all difficulties to achieve his goal.
7. One of my favorite sayings is "time heals all wounds."
This proverb means that with the passage of time, emotional or physical pain will eventually fade away.
This saying is especially relevant then we experience heartbreak, loss, or trauma. In the moment, it may feel like the pain will never go away, but as time passes, we start to heal. We may not forget what happened, but we learn to live with it and move forward.
I find this saying to be very comforting. It reminds me that no matter how difficult a situation may seem, with time, things will get better. However, it's important to note that time alone may not always be enough to heal certain wounds.
8. Home is where our story begins (Comment on homes in different cultures and the way we can learn the person through his home).
Hearing the word "home", many people imagine different pictures in their minds. For some, it’s a warm, cozy atmosphere of love and comfort. For some, it is fear and childhood trauma. I believe that, first of all, home is associated with the process of upbringing, because how a person was brought up determines his life. Comparing to other cultures, there is a big difference between the US and Asia. In the United States, upbringing is more loyal than, for example, in South Korea. Children in South Korea grow up in strictness, parents hold their children up to high standards. In the US, children are freer to express their opinion. Home is the place where life begins, where people learn about the world. People go out into the big world with the knowledge that they were given at home, and if something was not given to a person, then it will be more difficult to face problems. Home is the first place of human’s socialization. I believe that our homes are where we learn to live.
