My book for home reading is a novel called IT written by Stephen King. During the first semester, I read only two parts of the novel, which is devoted to the actions in the city of Derry, where seven friends lived and investigated the cause of the murder of the younger brother of a boy from their company. The plot of the book jumps all the time, and the author writes about how they fought and will fight with an otherworldly monster, because of which children constantly disappear, and which feeds on children's fears. They have to fight the monster either both in childhood and in adulthood. The first part shows us how cohesion and unity helped them to find out what it is and how to deal with it. They were all-indivisible, and faced failures and fears face to face. They called themselves losers, but they were not. The first part ends with the losers club leaving Derry and forgetting about what happened. The second part begins when twenty-seven years later; they reunite again, because Derry is once again shaken by a wave of horrific murders. However, only five find the strength to return to Derry and continue the fight. At the same time, each of them faces It again.
