1. If the verb is used with preposition in Active voice

-You must use the some preposition in the Passive Voice

Ex: Please send for the doctor, I don’t – Active voice

The doctor was sent for an hour ago – Passive voice

2. With the verb: sell, wash, peel, crease, wear, bake, burn, read, cook

-We can use the Active form, though the meaning in Passive

Ex: Her solo album sells well

The pie is still baking

3. The verbs like: to seem, to lack, to become, to fit, to suit, to resemble, can’t be used in the Passive Voice- because they don’t denote action or process, they denote states.

Ex: You resemble your mother so much

He became a real specialist in this field
