Scientific and technological progress is the development of science and technology, provided by man's knowledge of the forces of nature, its laws and their application in practice. Thanks to progress, the life of society is changing and, as a result, the life of every person. Science becomes a productive force, as it has a huge impact on the improvement of production. Rapid mechanization and automation of labor, that is, the displacement of manual labor from the production process. If changes in science and technology occur due to the quantitative accumulation of the scientific base and the development of technology and technology, then they speak of evolutionary scientific and technological progress. If they occur in a very short period of time due to a qualitative leap in science, then this is a scientific and technological revolution.
Undoubtedly, the scientific and technical process makes people happier. Consider at least mechanical engineering. In the modern world, various cars have been invented that help people move around cities and countries. Having a phone satisfies many needs, one of them is communication with people. Now you don't need to send emails and wait for them for some time, now you can just log in to any social network and write a message to a person from anywhere in the world. Smartphones have also replaced cameras, books, path maps and even games. All the equipment in the house improves people's lives, simplifies it. Science has given a person knowledge, and an intelligent person can achieve happiness with the help of his knowledge. And in the distant past, a person had less happiness than now, because then, with modest knowledge, other people decided a lot of things for a person.

"The rapid advent of the Internet has more negative effects than advantages." I absolutely disagree with this phrase, I believe that the Internet gives people more opportunities to realize themselves and their communication. Thanks to the Internet, a person does not need to run through all the libraries of his city in search of that very rare book that cannot be found anywhere. Now most of the books can be found on the Internet and read online. The Internet also helps to find out political, economic, cultural and entertainment news in the near future. Plane and train tickets can be bought online, rather than going to the train station. Booking a hotel in another country can also be done online. You can share your photos, videos and simple memories on social networks, and even people from other countries will see it. You can find any information on the Internet, starting from "how many countries in the world", ending with "how much buckwheat porridge should be cooked". If you missed a movie or cartoon on TV, you can watch it through your phone or laptop by simply typing the name in the search bar. I can name only one drawback of the rapid development of the Internet. We spend all our free time on our phones and forget about real life. You go on the bus and see how everyone is buried in their smartphones, put headphones in their ears and froze in the virtual world.
Virtual reality glasses are a device capable of immersing the user in a virtual world. This technology creates a visual and sound effect of presence in a certain space. Externally, the devices are a structure that is put on the head and securely fastened. Each device must have video displays and an acoustic headset. Photos, videos or games are displayed on the built-in screen, while the image is divided into two parts to create the effect of three-dimensional space. In addition to a high-quality display, the glasses have an audio headset with a 3D effect. Thus, a virtual reality helmet deceives a person's hearing and vision, completely isolating him from the real situation. It is believed that the first virtual reality helmet appeared back in 1968 and was designed by Ivan Sutherland and Bob Sproul.
