Lesson 26

  1. Warming up activities

The theme of science fiction and fantasy encompasses a wide range of ideas and concepts that often intersect. Science fiction typically explores technological and scientific advancements such as time travel, space exploration, artificial intelligence, and genetic modifications. Fantasy, on the other hand, often includes magic, mythical creatures, parallel worlds, and epic adventures. Both genres allow authors to explore philosophical and social questions through the lens of fictional worlds and characters. Some of the great science fiction and fantasy writers of the past include Frank Herbert, George R. R. Martin, Arthur C. Clarke, J. R. R. Tolkien, and Ursula K. Le Guin. Their works inspire and continue to influence modern literature and pop culture.

6.)Extention activities

Reading much has numerous advantages, including improved cognitive function, increased knowledge, and enhanced empathy. However, it can lead to a sedentary lifestyle and potential eye strain. Not reading at all can result in limited intellectual growth and communication difficulties. Reading only books on a certain topic can deepen one's understanding of that subject but may also lead to a narrow worldview. Reading classical books offers exposure to timeless ideas and historical context, but they can sometimes feel outdated or inaccessible. Reading modern books provides contemporary relevance and diverse perspectives, but it may lack the depth and analysis found in classical works. Balancing these reading habits can lead to a well-rounded education and personal growth.
