  1. Warming up activities

I think that religion is some kind of worldview that does not converge with scientific understanding. This is some kind of belief in the existence of supernatural forces, which affects both a person and society as a whole. This is the establishment of a special relationship to these forces. This is an appeal to the higher powers with prayers. These are rites and rituals. Religion influences people's consciousness, brings up the best moral qualities: kindness, compassion, respect for other people. Religion unites people.

World religions do not have geographical borders, they go beyond the borders of one nation or state, cover a large number of believers around the world. These include Christianity, Buddhism and Islam. Each religion is built on a whole set of rules, restrictions, norms of behavior, includes a system of cult actions, rituals.

In order to understand the "purpose of life", you must first formulate the "meaning of life", because for each person it is his own, a person chooses his own meaning of life. If you are still thinking about what the meaning of life is, the answers should be sought in yourself. A person can look for the purpose of life both in religion, in work, and in science, but the main thing is in himself. You are the perfection that you strive for. You make your own choice in everything: what kind of job you will get, what scientific discoveries you will make or what religion you will profess. By performing all actions for your own pleasure, you will achieve certain goals that will be combined in the future. All these goals set by you will be the common goal of your life.

There are many literary works devoted to the problem of finding the purpose and meaning of life. But it is necessary to understand that every writer has his own unique way of life. Someone portrays a man at a crossroads, leading him through a mountain of trials. For example, the works of Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin "Eugene Onegin" and "The Bronze Horseman", Ivan Sergeyevich Turgenev - "Fathers and Children". There are works where the choice of a life path is a search for truth. For example, the work of Maxim Gorky "At the bottom".

  1. Science has replaced religion in almost all spheres of society. No. Science is science, it is a subject of knowledge. Religion is religion, it is an object of faith. They are not interchangeable and do not even intersect anywhere. Science does not refute religion, religion does not try to discredit science. If anything replaces religion, it will be a new religion. Science will never replace religion, because there are no limits to the perfection of humanity.

  2. In the modern world, and in any difficult time, when people find themselves alone with their problems, troubles and misfortunes, it is the church that serves as the corner where the exhausted, lost person can find understanding and comfort. The role of the church is great for every person. Prayer, an appeal to higher powers, gives a person strength, elevates him, motivates and sets him up to accomplish great things. The Church unites and enriches our souls, helps in solving many global social problems facing society.. Combining this, I can say that the church performs such roles as: an educational role, a unifying role, a missionary role.
