Dear Sir or Madam, 

With reference to your announcement on the conference website, I am writing to participate in the letters contest. I believe that the most urgent issues of the biosphere today are global climate change, depletion of natural resources, and deforestation.

The first issue that I would like to mention is global climate change. A large amount of emissions leads to the formation of a greenhouse effect, thereby increasing the temperature of the Earth and causing extreme weather events and melting ice. This issue is very important to consider, as we are already seeing the consequences. It can also lead to catastrophic consequences for people and nature.

The second and least important problem of the biosphere is the depletion of natural resources. This is a very urgent problem, as the world's population continues to grow, as does the demand for energy and other types of limited resources. And the irrational use of resources by people has led to their rapid depletion. If humanity does not at least try to reduce this problem, it can lead to soil degradation, lower yields, and loss of resources and ecosystems.

And the last problem that I would like to discuss with you, but not the last one, is deforestation. This problem is very significant because environmental, climatic, and socio-economic factors lead to it. Deforestation leads to a decrease in biodiversity, timber reserves, including for industrial use, and a decrease in the water content of rivers.

I hope that my point of view corresponds to the opinion of the modern scientific society. Please, feel free to let me know if you have some questions. I am looking forward to your response.
