•What would you do differently next time?

Note-taking / summarising

•What process did you go through to make the summary?
•Were any of your techniques particularly effective or ineffective?

Reading effectively for study
•Reading quickly
•Finding information efficiently
•Focussing and concentrating
•Having a purpose & using appropriate skills to achieve it
•Doing something with the info e.g. making notes

Slow reading habits
•Vocalising or pronouncing the words
•Looking at the individual words rather than the ideas
•Tunnel reading – can’t see the wood for the trees
•Regressing / going back and re-reading for fear of missing something important

Reading quickly – predicting & connecting ideas
