Edit your work!
Check that:
–every word is spelled correctly (including dose / does, form / from)
–correct punctuation is used throughout (and in the right place!)
–capital letters are used when necessary
TIPS:
–Keep a list of your common mistakes
–Use FIND/REPLACE to find mistakes and fix them
–Take a break before editing and print out you work - it’s easier to spot mistakes
–Get someone else to read your paper (i.e., a learning advisor at Student Learning Support or a friend). At least read it aloud and listen to what you are reading.
