How to use the Marugoto Starter A1 Wordbook
1 Wordbook words
The Wordbook consists of 1000 words, divided by topic, that are required to study Marugoto Japanese Language and Culture Starter A1 Katsudoo and Rikai.
700 of the words are taken from the Starter A1 Katsudoo and Rikai books. 300 other words are added.
Some words belong to more than one topic.
See the 'other words' page for frequently used words that are not connected with any of the topics such as numbers and dates.

3How to use the wordbook
When you see this character on the 'Character and Word' page in the Rikai
book, look at the wordbook and practise.
You will become able to use the words by speaking and writing about things you want to speak and write about. That is why there is a "My Word List" in this wordbook. Write words that you need in "My Word List".
