The "Airship" bookstore on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street opened its doors in April 1997 and has since won the love of many book enthusiasts thanks to its unique design and rich selection of literature.

The unique design and wide range of literature at the "Dirigible" bookstore. This place attracts book lovers with its unusual appearance and variety of genres.

The store offers books on various topics: children's literature, health books, intellectual literature, books on art, local history, metaphysics, education and development, philosophy, psychology, medicine, and fiction. "Dirigible" also has a wide selection of goods for school, leisure, and hobbies.

There are three "Dirigible" stores in the city, the most popular of which is the large store on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street. Currently, it is a three-story shopping center with over 50,000 titles of books. In addition to book departments, the center also features a tea and ethnic souvenir salon, the literary café "Library," and the music bar "Phonoteka." Here you can purchase children's fiction and educational literature, gift editions for children, as well as stationery.

The store regularly organizes meetings with authors, workshops for children and adults, as well as other events, making a visit to "Airship" not only an opportunity to replenish one's book collection but also to enjoy a cultural program.

Johann Gutenberg invented the printing press in 1440-1445, cast metal letters, printed the Latin Bible in two volumes. But the first editions did not bring in income, and Gutenberg lost all his property. In Mainz, the Fust and Schöffer printing press appeared. Gutenberg established a new printing press, printed a Latin grammar textbook, calendars, the Psalter, but did not receive recognition during his lifetime and died in obscurity.

Francysk Skaryna was born in Polotsk and from 1517 lived in Prague, where he began printing biblical books. The first printed book was the "Psalter", published on August 6, 1517. In 1520, he founded a printing press in Vilna, where "The Small Travel Book" and "The Apostle" were published. Skaryna's printing press was destroyed in a fire in Vilna. From this book, Ivan Fedorov and Peter Mstislavets began printing in Moscow.

Ivan Fedorov and Peter Mstislavets in 1563 built a printing press at the behest of Ivan IV in Moscow, produced a semi-uncial font, and published "The Apostle". This was the first precisely dated printed Russian book. The next year, they published "The Prayer Book".

Schweipolt Fiol in 1491 in Krakow published books printed in Cyrillic: "Octoechos", "Octoechus", "The Prayer Book".
